Partridge Well Drilling (PWD) was established in 1892 and we are proud to celebrate over 125 years in serving Jacksonville and North Florida. At the time of our founding, drilling rigs had masts that were made of wood. They were assembled and disassembled for each job and mobilized from
site to site on a horse drawn wagon. Power was from steam. Since 1892, PWD has been passed down through five generations of the same family. PWD‘s current president is the fifth generation to manage the company. Utilizing the most advanced equipment and safest drilling procedures available has helped us to achieve our goals of providing quality performance and sustaining a solid register of satisfied clients. PWD has constructed thousands of wells, for many different uses, including, but not limited to:
- Public Supply Wells for large municipalities
- Wells producing over 3,000 gallons per minute for fire protection
- Golf Course irrigation Wells
- Injection Wells
- Recovery Wells
- Piezometers
- Monitor Wells

PWD currently has 40 employees and operates eight drilling rigs. PWD is a certified Florida “Drug Free Work Place”. PWD has theexperience, talent, and professionalism to handle any drilling operation.
