Partridge Well Drilling (PWD) was established in 1892. At that time drilling rigs had masts made of wood. They were assembled and disassembled for each job and mobilized from site to site on a horse drawn wagon. Power was from steam.

PWD has been passed down through five generations of the same family. PWD's current president, Pat Partridge, is the fifth generation to manage the company. Utilizing the most advanced equipment and safest drilling procedures available has helped us to achieve our goals of providing quality performance and sustaining a solid register of satisfied clients.

Over the past century PWD has constructed several thousands of wells, for many different uses, including but not limited to public supply wells for large municipalities, wells producing over 3,000 gallons per minute for fire protection, golf course irrigation wells and wells for domestic use.

In 1985 PWD begin providing environmental drilling services including injection wells, recovery wells, Piezometers, monitor wells, air sparging wells and related environmental services. PWD currently has approximately 45 employees and operates eight drilling rigs, seven pump installation and service trucks and a septic tank installation and service crew.

PWD is a certified Florida "Drug Free Work Place" program.
